Reaped

A Poem by Paladin4life
"

This is my third haiku. In this piece I go with the fall season aka harvest time. This one is somewhat ominous. It caries a warning in its last line.

"

Harvest will soon come

Crimson leaves cover the earth

The sickle soon falls

well penned. I get the deeper meaning too....and you are correct. Not trying to be cryptic but there's only so much time to do what we are supposed to do...peace.
