I'm so lonely
And so in love
He wouldn't even look my way

Why can't people see
Behind this face?
There's beauty every where

Why do I have to live this way?
I'm just as good as you
I'm human
Just like you
So why does everything
Have to be
All about how you look

Why can't he see
The real me
Not how I look
But how I feel.

I really felt this one. Beautiful. You captured and put into words what alot of people feel but never say. Your poem seems sad but I do not thinkk it is. You are giving a voice to people that cannot say.....look at the real me....
