Spring Evening

Spring Evening

A Poem by echo501
"

A short poem

"
Soft saxaphone music spills into
The warm evening
Sweet syrupy liquor
For your ears
The notes are deep and round
And swell to mirror the
The blossoms in the traffic islands
Before dissolving to endless variations of blooms
A concrete moon floats above the skyline
Bloated on the sweet spring air
The city is silent
Except for those round notes
Bubbles of sound
The silence, too is loud
Made up of every tiny sound

. wow, the last five lines almost appear as if from nowhere and sting the reader ... brilliantly skillful writing ... it's great that your poetic voice echoes ...

"sweet syrupy liquor" to describe a sax is amazing and right on... Now it's possibly the only beautiful way I can describe the sound (:
Love this poem, good job!
