Purple

Purple

A Poem by Chaise Nicole
"

A short love poem.

"
You’re a daring purple,
Strong against the other hues of the evening sky.
You stood out to me the most,
As you held your own against the night.
But I am only lavender,
I am soft and quiet,
I am neither demanding nor boastful,
But I have my place along the skyline;
And as I rested there, alongside you,
I realized we are simply shades of the same color,
Endlessly complimenting each other.

I've never read a piece that, like Chris said, humanized colors. It's really interesting!

Very nice! I really like the way you humanize colors and use them to express personality types. Keep up the good work!
