A Poem by eena

you're like that
half bottle of vodka left over,
sitting in the top
of your dresser drawer;
yeah, your pocket's poor
but your hands are so
rich rich rich,
you're so prettily
kitsch,
a little too sentimental
and in bad taste,
but some like it a little
that way.
I'm just objective
to your objectification,
inadequate presentation
so I sit back and
I roll up my blue jeans
and sing,
'keep on the sunnyside,
always on the sunnyside
keep on the sunnyside of life-'
it ain't exactly what you need
but I'm not really aiming to please,
I've my own agenda,
my own selfish inclinations.
