Blank Surface

Blank Surface

A Poem by Bee

I sit on top of this rock
the rock below the sky, the moon staring down
as I look into the future
the image remains blank, like a clear canvas
ready for it's paint, yet no desire to pick up the brush
there it is, no desire
im ready for you, light my heart on fire
they say "no pain, no game"
we've all met pain
you tell me youth and wisdom don't mix
I tell you I don't give a s**t
maybe its our ability of action before thought
our solid innocence, we hold on so dear
and I chuckle when you pray to a higher power
chuckle like the devil, therefore there's a lower power?
within ourselves, we're immune
filled with no desire, no desire
