We witness more and more how displeased nature is with the constant abuse human kind is dishing out to her when much can be avoided. We have to take responsibility!

  

                         MAMMA NATURE

We live in the shadow of your mercy.

You ravage ~ to show anger and displeasure 

          in many different ways.

We shun the glare of your gaze!

You scan the world, assessing the extent

           of our sinful days.

You select your own form of punishment

for the unjust and take the just into your kingdom.

You are the guiding force behind the path of wrath

         in chosen places.

You know us well and there are savage tales to tell.

No mercy shown where mankind have chosen to dwell

with evil intent ~ ignoring the laws that for us were ment.

You warn your people of trials and tribulations they must face

if they disobey your word, your given word.

Because they continue in ignorance, the Master must prove

His power and His might to bring the message closer home.

 While we resist and persist in debauchery mothers mourn

the loss of sons and daughters too `Pray Lord tell what 

                       humans have to do!

I'm sorry that I've missed this two weeks ago dear Kitty, sometimes there is so much going on the site that I might not notice if You or any other one posted a new poem.

quite strong is Your opening verse, and surely never less the power of Your true words coming later, I'm afraid the situation won't change, at least anytime soon, humans will keep destroying the beauty of nature, and nature will keep raging over us from time to another with her anger voice... like a cycle, but still we can never give up hope, as You, many and many out there just want that beautiful peace with nature.

We were put in a beautiful place but uncaring, undesrving humans insist on destroying everything of lasting beauty. It is soul destroying to watch, at the best of times! Be safe my friend.

There will always be those who choose to destroy over preservation. The beauty of our planet is diminishing as your wonderful poems states and if only some of us would do our part maybe that would be enough, though sadly I don't think so.
