SOUNDS

SOUNDS

A Poem by kitty
"

My Muse has popped in to prompt me to write some thoughts down.

"
                 SOUNDS ...
so clear takes rest in human ear,
a sense we oft take for granted
yet we rely on these vibes to 'be'.

Hear the ripple of the running brook,
with fish that you can cook.

Listen to the romance of dawn chorus,
the crackle of wheels on its tracks.

The echoes from valleys deep and wide.
The crashings of angry seas against pilgrim rocks.

Wild flowers convey the sweetest sounds
        from insects that flit around.

All these we should appreciate as we put
our feet firmly on the ground!

i have listened.. i still do...reminds me of waking up in the early morning in Vermont ...best sounds i have ever heard...the bob whites...the whipperwills...the cows mooing...
and on a very peaceful, quiet night now...i still hear those sounds.
thanks for the memories.

dear Kitty, You took me into one meditation journey, Your first line is like pure magic "so clear takes rest in human ear", calmness and peace pouring from Your words, so very lovely, and may Your muse keeps on "popping" and prompts You to write some thoughts down.

Gee
To many years in construction has seriously impacted on my hearing, to the point now where my wife often claims it is more a case of me being "selective" than part deaf when I totally ignore her :)))
It is nice to escape the hustle and bustle, usually with the pooch, and take in the sights and sounds of this beautiful planet.
Good morning Kitty
