JUST HOLD ON

JUST HOLD ON

A Poem by kitty
"

You come to a point in life where the inevitable become evitable. Prompted by my muse to take the pen up.

"

JUST HOLD ON...

to those memories, they were made to last as
time washes over them, like waves upon the sand.

Savor them with pleasure- even on recall
bringing back the memory of when they were first made.

Age takes its toll on body, mind and soul.
What becomes of you when on the way the mind is lost.

Loved ones will remember when you shared their joy
for where are you now - searching - but will you find>>>
         that jubilant, once healthy boy?!!!

i am at that point....holding on to the realities i have known in the past...but also seeing a future that may have me eventually forgetting all of it...hoping others might remember me with some fondness for i was in all my presents...the nows i have experienced.

Hm(?), Kitty Sweet 😏

Ohhh, but for sake of a young, healthy lad,
my desire's world e'er shine jubilantly glad!

Such is the vividly vibrant imagery painted onto the canvas of an imaginative bard's creative mind, by a lady faire's brush of feminine delights … ahhh, such is the warm, surging thrum of blood … well, one can only guess at the scenario's impending sweet ambiance, eh?

A basket of kissable hugs sent your way, Sweet Kitty, for shining my way! ⁓ Richard 🍃

dear Kitty... yes the inevitable arrives... but I am hanging on... My grandmother was sharp as a tack in her eighties with a sense of humor. I have good genes. We must enjoy every moment and trust that people will be kind. A year ago I met a Lady who was waiting for her friend to take dialysis while I was waiting for my husband to take dialysis. The Lady and I had a nice conversation. She said to
Me, “You are a ‘people whisperer’ “. That was such a precious thing to say to me. It keeps me strong emotionally and was a beautiful “Gift”
to give to me as I survive the aging process. I have heard of “horse whisperers”. And know it means helping horses to think properly and behave accordingly. Interesting to be
a “People Whisperer”. Anyone can be a
People whisperer. truly, Pat
