all or nothing

all or nothing

A Poem by Zoe
"

sigh adolescence

"

this time the undertow of the wind was strong

i could tell i wasn't the only one

that noticed
a golden sheen appeared on those leaves
which smelled the snow
their pores felt uknown calling

and did you ever wonder
why the sun chose to fall upon that patch of grass
a sliver of which fell on my eye and time
stopped.

take that left as the road winds
and the day is getting quiet
"when you know your personal destiny, the whole world conspires to make it happen"
the ancient king had said.

and maybe it meant everything
maybe it meant nothing.
