Just a Body

Just a Body

A Poem by Cult Barbie
"

Being a survivor

"
I thought he was just like me
And he thought I was the same as him
We were both wrong
By the time we figured it out
It was too late

We had already drank the blood

It's just a body
It's   just   a   body
It's just a body

he.said.

Enjoyed this short piece , reminding me of Anne Rice stories of the vampire underworld.

I agree with you. It's just a body.
Burke and Hare managed it alright.
Though they did get to like it a bit too much.

i think it stands alone ... but i lean toward minimalism anyway ... i think you could build all kinds of things around this "Rough draft" ... from reading i get the sense that you have a clear picture of your characters .. and victims ... could easily be a short story .. or longer epic ... the world's a stage and the Cafe' a perfect place to feel it out ;) but.... i like it just as is!

An illustrating metaphor or a damning reality... the content of context.
