A GOOD DAY OUT

A GOOD DAY OUT

A GOOD DAY OUT

Josedech said, “What the heck!

I think I’ll drive to Brighton,

And run along the shingle sand

Without any of my clothes on.”

So, drove he did with fifteen quid

And a ham and salad sandwich,

He parked his car and doffed his gear

And ran naked all the way to Cambridge

When he got there, to many a cheer

He stood on the Bridge of Sighs.

Josedech felt good, as one would

And the girls whistled at his thighs

‘We’re having a party,’ said the arty

Dons and undergrads

‘and you can come and show your bum

It’s one of our big fads.’

So Josedech, his head and neck

And the rest of his pink skin

Is famous and still talked about

Amongst the crowd that’s in

Next time you don’t know what to do

and you’re bored and chewing your arm off

take off your clothes and off you goes

to Brighton or Great Yarmouth
