Jumble.

Jumble.

A Poem by mess of gorgeous chaos

She
could see
at his most
playful of times
how much his heart
had been battered with
and his mind had been tapered.
He was a lost soul in a faraway place
who tried way too hard to grasp onto reality
but didn't realize he was only pushing himself further

off
the
edge.

If needed,
she would be right there
to catch him
when he tumbled.

She always felt
a searing pain
to help him,
to understand him,
but each day
he seemed to be
more of a puzzle.
She tried so hard to tell him
that she was always
watching,
waiting,
looking after him,
but the right words
never found their way.
He was her happiness
she longed to protect...
but that longing
was just simply
swept away
in unfulfilled promises.

She's now left with the question,
is it actually possible for two quiet people to fall in love?

That was amazing. The comparisons and contrasts discreetly develop character, in such little words. I love the very beginning- "She could see at his most playful of times how much his heart had been battered with". It really shows his vulnerability and exposure.
There's something about your writing I find very relatable and understanding. It's really impressive. Ihoped this helped you :DDD
