Bad Energy

Bad Energy

A Poem by SilentDreamer

I hate how much I worry,
And never fail to stay
The same in that respect.
My mind gets clogged
With pointless thoughts
That nag at me
Throughout the day.
And the bugs crawl in
My belly endlessly.
And I tell myself to
Push it all away.
Your thoughts won't change
The outcome eventually.
And I try to dispel them,
To think positive thoughts.
Yet it seems like they have
A secret passageway to my brain.
And they sneak in
At the worst possible times.

You have expressed this feeling so well in this poem, some people try mediation, some play games or spend time with friends, but as soon as the mind isn't occupied here they come again.

Ahhh, don't you hate those voices that sneak up on you? I know I do!! This was a passage through thoughts that sometimes we have to set free. Only we ourselves can find the peace we search for, and within finding it I know the voices will slowly move on and soon be gone.
Well done Joe...
