The Angel's Home

The Angel's Home

A Poem by Mirror
"

My baby

"
The joy
Oh, the deep joy I see in your father's eyes
Brought tears in my own eyes
Biting fingers
Fighting the excitement
I see heaven in his eyes
Kissing me good night
Telling me the reason I love him
Love him more, the more
My Angel
You have brought wings into our lives
The smile he throws at me
The sweet glances
The calls in every second
The laughter
The plays
Oh, my angel
I am
He is
you are
Angel
My home

Having never been a parent, your poem is like a gift to someone like me, who's never known these sensations. This is a beautiful word tapestry of the shared joy between a new mom & dad. Love it! (((HUGS))) fondly, Margie
