Pacing

Pacing

A Poem by emipoemi

All writers do it,
And daily keep to it,
For often ’tis through it
The wonders occur.

Peers grow severely
Concerned, and stare queerly,
But writers pace merely
To nurture their spur.

yep
i feel you
and i definitely do this
walking randomly with my notebook in hand
mumbling all manner of gibberish to myself
scribbling broken phrases
barely legible
certainly had my fare share of funny looks
but hey
whatever works
great little piece
delightful and relatable

Pacing is one of the most important aspects of life, yet people often don't pay attention to it at all! Some are in a hurry, some spill too many beans, but I'm looking for balanced pacing and it looks like you are, too! *smile* This could apply to writing, romance, cooking, & exercise! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

You're right - wonders do occur when talented people put pen to paper as you just did :)

indeed they do. Thanks for reading. Glad you enjoyed it.
Enjoyed this. Thinking too much hurts the brain. Sometimes best just letting little muse have a break... We all feel this poem speak volumes. :)

I really enjoyed this poem. I got to a point where I could not think of anything to write, so I just started writing. It really does help,so I guess I was really just trying to say this poem is relatable and resonated with me.

So glad! Thank you so much for reading!
What a lovely poem. A wise man once told me deafening rap music from a neighbor helps as well. Just a thought. :)
