The intimate conversation

A midst the cacophonous crowd

Is a touch of dawn in a dark room

Is the rain that seizes the drought

Is the fawn wings spread

Is the deer drinking by the riverbed

Is a sigh of relief

Is all damnation and loneliness relinquished

Is a heavy load now at your toes

Is the light of the stars at nigh

Is the green leaf of a long awaited spring

Is the healthy birth of an unexpected child

Is the first word of a masterpiece never told

Is what was yearned for now in between fingers

Is the sunset that brings forth a kiss

Is a hand on an arched back being comforted

Is love in hate

Is a beautiful truth

Is pencil to paper

Is your smile, sun shining to my soul

Time stagnant.
