Gilver

Gilver

A Poem by SLOVA

Have you
heard him
Coming through the streets
The man that walks alone at night
And minds the company he keeps

Have you heard him
breathing in heartbeats
He drinks his stories and disappears in heat

Have you heard him
Waging with the creeks
He takes his time and wades around
Drinking in the streets

Do you see his shadow wilting
But growing ever tall
His eyes could tell a tale of hate
But he maes no sound at all

Have you
Heard him
Coming through the streets
The man that walks alone at night
And minds the company he keeps

If I ever meet him,
I'll be sure to let him know
That sometimes life is not for the living to suffer
But for the dead to let go

B
Sounds like a scary man
Or a person that is in full refusal of society
yet living within its vicinity

so sad
i feel like i would give this man a hug
i love the imagery here and this feeling of suspense
