When the Wind Sleeps

When the Wind Sleeps

A Poem by Gordon

Be still wind

You have cluttered my thoughts

Be still wind

Let me find peace once more

Be still wind

Carry no more secrets

Sleep wind, sleep

Until tomorrow's morn

Rage wind, rage

Topple lies in their place

 Rage wind, rage

Let your story be told

Rage wind, rage

Spread your grand wings and scream

Rest wind, rest

You have settled the score

Dream wind, dream

Of your wild fantasies

Dream wind, dream

I will caress your flesh

Dream wind, dream

My kiss will comfort you

Wake wind, wake

And see who stole your breath

I felt like someone has some sort of power to control the elements of nature or wishing to do that. Or you could be talking about the winds of change and how we wake up from slumber to find a different reality...Splendid poem...:).............
