DOLLHOUSE DOCTRINE.

DOLLHOUSE DOCTRINE.

A Poem by Emunah June.

They say "the older, the wiser"
but so far, they're liars
because the older that they've been
the less they think of "where and when".

the shifty smiles
and hollow hellos
the moral malfunctions
and resolves of yellow.

i matter when i fill the space
but if they cannot see my face
i don't exist, i dont compare
to the bodies and numbers physically there.

a data point in virtual space
a clash of views and leadership race
pilot a plane where we all crash and burn
the sake of lessons we never really learn.

don't you see, this is the truth
the phantom of me and the reality of you
my wallet runs dry ; they'll ignore your sin
in favor of preaching a dollhouse doctrine.

Author's Note

Emunah June.
I genuinely hope and pray that no one believes I am anti-religion, or anti-G-d, because I promise that I'm not. I am simply wanting people to think about how common it is that these establishments will favor money over morality, or rather, what they can get versus what the people need. I know the Lord cries over who we've become. I pray it changes.

Hi there, first read I have read of yours.
I do not really care if you are religious or not ... what does it matter when one is reading a poem that is sincere to the feelings of the poet?
You are correct to say that you pray it changes but I fear it never will because that is the way it is... We can only live our lives in the best way possible and enjoy what little time we have here.
I found your poem to be interesting on many levels...

People shift like the sands after the sea waves have touched them , the establishment brainwashes most of us , with its media magicians , Religion is whatever Religion you want your brain to be entranced with
Nothing changes physically your minds always the same shape ,outwardly , inwardly is when it gets scary
