Pools

Pools

A Poem by Epiphany P. Nickel
"

Just a quick little poem :)

"

Pools of water beneath my toes,
The storm is blooming like a rose.
Beautiful in its own destructive way,
Just like life, and the light of day.

Pools of water beneath my feet,
Trickling down the abandoned street.
A hush falls over the city tonight,
There will be doings of wrong, and doings of right.

Tears fall down my face,
Down into these pools they race,
Because everyone else is so far gone,
And they won't be back 'til long after dawn.
