That May Be So

That May Be So

A Poem by Eponine Roy

You say he doesn't love you, and that may be so

It's up to you, dear - It's in your hands

Either keep him close or let him go

You say you see his feelings, and that may be so

But think first, dear, what's in your crystal ball

Through the fog - is it his mind or no

You say your head is clear, and that may be so

Scattered and shattered in many places

It's hard to judge what you do not know

I say I can help you, and that may be so

Only if you'll let me, dear, inside

Now hold my hand and let your tears flow
