Autumn Forest Journey

A walk through Meinig park in Autumn.

Flames touch the leaves among evergreen trees
the colors within Autumn cast their beauty
walking through Meinig park as the heart of Autumn glows
shades of fire upon the leaves as a soothing wind blows

My cherished love and I caught in an Autumn breeze
the paths wind and stretch on between wild forest trees
ivory clouds paint the sky above with a snow white hue
Autumn beauty caresses our souls causing joy to brew

Through the wild Autumn forest we wander hand in hand
leaves drift down and gather and glow upon trees so grand
the rust orange creek winds and streams, like sweet pumpkin wine
the forest creatures shine on, as does wild nature divine

The birds sing their sweet melodies, the squirrels chitter among the trees
we're caught in the magic of our journey and the beauty of the leaves
we pass through the beautiful flame swept trees and head for the warmth of home
the magic of Autumn we treasured upon a journey where beauty shone
