A Poem by Eric Cox
"

An old poem about movies & Halloween.

"
Halloween brews a time for haunting movies
chillers come alive welcoming monsters and lunies
a well done horror movie is what we need rolling
to chill us to the bone while entertaining

So do your best to scare us you creators of fiends
like Bram Stoker, Mary Shelley, and Stephen King
we need all the horror you writers can dream
build us a masterpiece on the big screen

So when Halloween at long last blooms this year
and countless frightening movies draw near
monster mania will brew moon high
All Hallow's Eve shall never die
