Autumn's Dawn

Autumn's Dawn

A Poem by Eric Cox
"

An old poem of the beauty of Autumn.

"

Summer grasps death today

hip hip hooray!

Autumn is beautiful, not too hot or cold

like beautiful Spring, shining like gold

The Autumn sun is rising

it's a beautiful morning

A cup of black tea to start the day

and this country boy feels okay

I love to sit before the fire, magical

and gaze upon the leaves fiery beautiful

I feel the cool breeze of Autumn take hold

its' magic beauty soon glowing gold
