weatherman

weatherman

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

weatherman

forecast gray skies

but live blue demeanor

a somnambulist in sunshine dream

always waking to the rain

on the roof of his teardrop heart.

What a relaxing tone and a wonderful swirl of words. The weatherman here in phoenix is seldom right, even though we have sun most of the time...lol. There is always the hope that the forecast is wrong. Great piece!!!

This is quite beautiful...it is soothing and sad all at once...almost wistful in presentation. I like it very much.

Very original! I like the flow of this piece. If we could forecast the feelings in our hearts I wonder what type of storm we'd get. As for this weatherman, he sounds as if he's on the precipice of happiness though something within him won't permit it. A pensive read, for sure. I'd have a field day writing a paper or response to this. Amazing piece. Great read.

I always wonder about what inspires Your mind with such original unique words, thoughts and style... I only think then, of Your imagination, how uniquely deep, wide and fertile it is.

'You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows'
words to heed from the great philosopher...or pot head.
Either way, made sense.
