A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

reflections of reflections of reflections

lonely
is a cup of tea
without leaves
an imminent autumn
without love
to sip from another's cup
of smiles

lonely
is a cup of me
without you
an imminent autumn
without a too long, Oolong moment
to share a kiss from another's lips
to taste of those departed smiles.

This is one of the most alluringly playful romantic writes I've ever seen from you! I love it! The tangle of autumn, tea, & longing is purely delicious! "Imminent autumn" wins the best phrase award for the month! You paint a tantalizing scene (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

I found this to be an enchanting read. Breathtakingly beautiful, I'd say. Somehow, the idea of lonely becomes 'less lonely' after reading this piece of yours. ..

Ah what a warm, piny aroma of oolong you have left us with. Intimate, personal and cosy- longing for that one person who understands you and with whom spending time is truly worth a hundred cups of good tea.

I prefer a green tea,
but each has their own taste.
Maybe one which leaves you longing for more.

‘Thoughts In Time’🌹

Pleasures in abundance sent upon a smiling kiss🌹
Hands down brilliant j. Eloquent and sweet wordplay in playful, poignant verses. Rhythmic, delightful phrases-“too long, Oolong moment”- cleverly penned. Great metaphor, personification, repetition. Enjoyable, wistful reverie that is perfection to a “tea”. Superb write.

Thinking of a Supremes song here...Reflections of the way it used to be.... love the way "too long oolong" rolls off the tongue. Nice to have the time to read you again. Lydi**
