'Committed'
erin-cilberto,
Two people together sure can bring about a little confusion within the confines of love. This little bit of wisdom and honest portrayal just shows that the process of loving and living with a dear loved one can bring so much good along with times of crazy wanderings. "severed reasoning' I get that.
Blessings and a great poem

Your welcome jacob. I enjoyed reviewing and reading this poem. Fun short one.
Now I know where the line "madly in love" comes from. Reminds me of Its a mad, mad world!

There is no sense when it comes to love...just pure emotion. Yes, it can lead to craziness. A lot of meaning packed into this short gem. Lydi**

Muses that leave you crazed and desperate are sometimes the best kind of inspiration.lol They really push you to the edges. Always love these small kisses.

thank you, Queenie...:)))
Brilliant wordplay in your title and sardonic senryu j. So true, we lose our heads to love-figuratively and , in your poem, quite literally. “They’re coming to take me away- ha, ha!”- taken to the extreme....love the wonderful madness and humor of your words my friend!

ah yes, i remember that song well...Napolean Bonaparte the third..."to the funny farm where life is .. read more
Love in which, at least, one lover has "lost his or her head" could well be viewed as a form of insanity.
Such lovers often find themselves "bouncing off the walls.
Dynamite senryu!

Much truth here Jacob, clever use of words and much to ponder, on the disintegration of relationships from their heady heights.
