to erase

amidst the quarrel

that comes with careless love

 

but the road is paved with 

good intentions

as well as impending detentions

 

and we aren't good drivers

just careless lovers

bound to crash

when the conspiracy

is uncovered

James Cagney...one of my favourite actors and such a great villain...not a bad dancer either.
careless lovers seldom make good drivers...could never understand 'keep your eyes on the road, your hands upon the wheel'. But the road to Hell was paved with good intentions until the sun went down and it was every man for himself until 'our goose was cooked and her reputation was shot'.
Oh how things have changed!!!
