A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

it's just another song sung blue (or jukebox rejection)

i asked you to love me

and you politely declined

so i searched for another dance

but never got into rhythm

i was still moving

to the thought of you

And - the classic - "Can't we just be friends?" Sigh... Neil Diamond had it right "...everybody knows one..."

yes, he did have it right...thanks for understanding, Chris,
j.
Very sad the words...Sometimes we are so sure of the dance that we begin moving way before we should. Perhaps, the cues were all wrong. I could picture it all so well.
