What gives, takes

What gives, takes

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

What gives, takes

sifting Saturn winds

the rings and things

a sky full

an eyeful

of promises in a weak galaxy

the sun turns in its orbit

the earth stays eerily still

quiet Mother watches

the warming coming

the frozen smiles

tears from glaciers

to meet the rings and things

a mindful

sky full

of broken dreams

most thought it was all conspiracy

another ridiculous theory

sifting Saturn winds

the rings and things.

Sick of the conspiracy theories. The hygiene when I visited China twenty years ago was appalling. I am not one of the brigade that thinks this is man made. Mother nature biting back.

Yes life goes on regardless of man and his theories but I do wonder if this virus was man made or are we just a contributor in it's development? Many dreams will be broken!
