A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Relevancy

from my den

of exclusion,

heart is howling

waking up,

searching a mate

to engage,

heart is growling

dangerous excursion

waking up

searching a mate

to engage,

i found you

feigned a touch

you evaded

i invaded

we fell together

hearts growling

howling

waking up

as one

blissful death.

This is a poem for our strange times Jacob although many live in a state of exclusion in normal times. It can be circumstance, or choice, or character but I think most long for another to bond with. Of course the course of true love is often a bed of roses but the thorns are always there!
Well done for your poem Jacob.
Take care.

and i wonder how many might long for inclusion after this who once did choose exclusion.

that's the way it should be, wild, howling, growling, arms and legs everywhere, passing out and then awakening in each others embrace cuddling.... I remember this from way long ago.... glad you are still 'searching' Jacob.... keeps you young.... hmmm maybe that's why I'm so old... lol....

nicely written Jacob, you young poet you...

It seems so strange that the rush to embrace is a rush to far now.
Everything is virtual reality, something we all better get used to.
Social interaction is a shout from 2 metres. Don't know about America, but bars in Britain look like they'll be shut till the end of the year.

Don't think the injecting of disinfectant will catch on.
I find this to be beautifully dark. I may be relating my current state, but I interpret it as unrequited love.

Wow. Sounds a little mysterious and eerie to me. I enjoyed reading, as usual.

Let me tell you about the last date I had. Now, let me tell you about the final date I had. You'de think that two separate hearts from two different people would find the medium where escapade-meets-speed-limit and create less noise. You'de think that that clamorous growling would, over time, turn into kitten pecks or dove shadows or anything less cumbersome but that ain't true anymore. Thank you for reminding me how relevant looking out the window is my friend...lol/ dana

OMG.. it reminds me of my courtship.. I went to a party in 1968 and woke up six months later married and pregnant.. boy did I find out there is no such thing a free love.. and the bliss part.. I to close to death now to find anything blissful about it.. I came in kicking and screaming and I expect to go out the same way..

Hey sounds likes a good weekend, haha. Just kidding but in all honesty this piece seems like the reality of pursuing love, chasing intimacy and facing your demons. Great write Jacob.
