A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

consumer

slap happy clapping

no audience

just the sound of my own crowd

between the ears

masks optional

but i still see my face

from the inside out

while my logic is inverted

slap happy clapping

no audience

they are all following the pied piper

his tune is less orange

more believable...

hush now.

Are you watching politics on TV here J.? Sounds like this speaker might have a better message to deliver than the orange geezer.

more believable
hush now

I see you listening.

I am sure you can see me...interestingly, I wrote this five days ago...before last night happened.read more
Given the bunfight last night and the orange tinge to Trump I wondered it this metaphor referred to last nights debate as the two geriatrics slugged it out despite the people. As always food for thought.
