Your alliteration feels a bit like a steamroller, reminding me of the steamroller of alliteration himself, Bad Bunny! The amazing thing is how your poem picks up speed as it goes along, dragging our tongues thru the twisters (now I understand readers who ding me for my tongue twisters). I won't miss the tit-for-tat petulance of grievance politics one bit. Happy New Presidency! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

You two are really the most clever alliterators....
as well as the Ditzy Kat...
Tit or tat! Some people never get tired of chewing the same tit over and over till it gets chewed over and off haha. Sorry for the distasteful analogy my friend but I just thought naturally of it while reading this witty poem with its super word choice. Quid pro quo seems so totally mechanical sometimes.

ah yes, and you gave me a smile, Dhara...
thank you,

The quid-pro-quo type of poetry intimidates me, probably because English is a second language for me and sometimes I feel I can't do proper justice to someone's great poetic work. I learned some delightful new words here! A very enjoyable write, dear Jacob!

That left me wanting you to start from a all the way through z second and third stanzas were brilliant, sterile stasis?! Loved that. I dislike the quid pro quo as well but that’s in all things I have come to learn
