falling upwards

falling upwards

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

falling upwards

placate the soreness

amazing grace

the sky blue

is your view

looking up at the down

the blessing to have had you around

clouds align

in line

kerchiefs clutched for tears

there is rain in February.

beautiful, the ending really makes this writing.

Yes, there has been much rain in February and snow too. I find these words so relatable. They remind me of my brother in law's passing. It was so good to have him around. Touching write Jacob. Pierces the heart's defences.

I know you can relate, Chris...and I am so sorry for your loss.

Yes, there is Rain and a bit of Icy Snow in February.
We could use Feet like the Birds who never have trouble slipping off branches of Ice. They seem to Ice Skate on the Snow as if they were in a Disney Show. When we retire-- it seems we are always looking up-- wondering what Secrets the Sky has written today...
behind the dark grey clouds of February. Learning how to dance around the house as if we were a
Broadway Star. Be Brave and keep looking up.
tenderly, Pat
