So much chaos and heart breaks are everywhere ( in the poetic land) still some manages to uplift the spirit but his sadness is covered with thick smog thus not letting a thin ray of hope to enter!
This is like nature’s ringside each at opposite corners, each not connecting, each lost in their own transition or making. A tragedy of errors forces each to play their hand.

I feel like there's so much emotion in so few words!!! Such a beautiful poem, Jacob! I like the imagery you gave, the darkness of loneliness brightened by the sound of a single voice (As compared to the sun). Great poem, J! Thanks for sharing!!!
And just like the sun and moon, their feelings will never be on that same horizon. Reminds me of two people in a long distance relationship. There is something shared but never in reach. A touching write, Jacob. 🌹
Honest words written Jacob. Life is twisting and falling. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.

Yes it is Jacob. The twist of fate. Do we control or are we free-falling? You are welcome my friend.
I love the juxtaposition of the rising moon & the setting sun . . . never saw a poem that summoned that marvel of opposition as well as this one does (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
