One by One as One

One by One as One

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

One by One as One

from the desk of inventory
a stack of memories
collided with paper

in some strange poetic form
and love was counted
to be accurate

how many words actually got together
a marriage of unique themes
bonded line by line

I counted, I counted
them, us
what mattered

not just numbers
but hearts
real hearts, real pain, real revelry

real love.

You remember the real love. That's what counts. Long after they have gone the real love stays with you in memories. Yes, real love can cause heartbreak too. Love is not always a bed of roses. Touching write J.

Counting lovers or wives is only a matter of how much you loved each other, where your hearts were, where your trust was....was it real??? That's how I wold count; numbers don't mean a thing. What matters is reality...of passion, pain, and joy.
Best,
B.

All good poetry must be more then technically sound. It must be backed real emotions, experience, and knowledge. It must come from the soul. Such truth here. Amazing words.

You are welcome, Sir.
All what matters at the end is the truth. real people, real hearts, real words, real poetry, real love... all what is not real will be vanished. quality not quantity.
