Reckless Abandon

lovely art
the shapes of words so sensual
the curvature of letters
in tandem with fingers
that write them between sheets
of allure

there is inert beauty
that is born to move
as themes whisper softly to each other
when the moon listens intently
to the love expressed
as bodies compose

lovely art
the poem begotten
gently
exposed
touched
the skin of syllables

when poems meet
an affair
read
savored
touched as
lovely art

demands.

A reckless abandon has that atmosphere of being free and being at oneself without studying the consequences. The expression of being free.

thank you, andrew.

I feel like that was the smoothest poem of yours I've read. Absolutely love the idea of being allured by the sexy curves of letters. Copulating fingers touching the skin of syllables. What an excellent poem!!!

I think you have checked off the boxes for "lovely" and "art" here quite nicely.

wow! well done says i! your poem captures the heart and soul of artists and poets who combine there talents .. in words and paint ... deeply emotive for me .. i can feel the passion and commitment to get a "piece" just right .. so it fully expresses the desires of the authors ... best tribute to artists and art of all kinds that i have read here .. at the Cafe' .. nice work .. going to check on Fran now .. :)

"Alas poor Yorick..I knew him Horatio!"
Fran has inspired a wonderful piece here J. Yes, we put alot of love and passion into the shape of our lines as we pen our poetry. I am in bed with poetry now as I write this :) Fabulous metaphors here my dear friend..

You are most welcome..

Poetry shapes itself as art just a the passion of sensual desire shapes itself in a pattern of art. Both Are designed to be as perfect as a full moon, as sensual and juicy as a ripe peach. So well penned J… I had to read it a few times to savor each word.
