Thank goodness for a comma, you can take breath now for it’s a mad, mad, mad world out there. We are living in a world driven by rage out of frustratIon that the world is far from perfect. Had a laugh such a clever write.

the rage of the punctuation machine.
appreciate you, andrew...

That was so good!!! I wish you could see the smile on my face. Oh, it's right there next to this. Part of my merriment is the fact that I have dentures and was the focus of some of your anger at one time. The concept and structure of this poem really catches the eye and reads easy. You must not be taking the right kind of chemicals. They'll hug you!

So many mads, J, there were it was hard to look out for that solitary comma, and alas, there it was at the very end of the poem. Mad enough not to pause, I see. there is no place in this epoch to be far from the madding crowd. If you can't beat them, the going says... Madly enjoyed this poem! Thanks for madly sharing. Mad Frederick.

Me too! And mostly I am mad because life has not lived up to my expectations in far too many ways. ~Sharon

Now come on sir Jacob. There is a fine line between madness and genius. You are of the later.
Now, some mad people are glad and live in bliss. others are seethingly sad, in armour's clad

you are too kind, no genius here, just someone lucky to have the words pass through.

There are plenty of things to be mad about in this world, even if we don't understand them properly, or even understand why we are mad at them! A poem that is both funny and thought-provoking at the same time! They say that when you are truly satisfied with everything it is time to die! I'm not truly satisfied, so hopefully I'll live a little longer yet! Thanks for sharing this poem!

Strange thing about being mad... Being mad is not productive..or so they say... It it the level of madness that matters?
If we are not mad does that mean things do not change?

good questions, Lisa...which I often ask myself.

I think it was Michael Bentine who said it's a mad, mad world". That was back in the fifties. Nothing's changed and it's only gonna get worse. When we don't get mad that means we don't care.
