A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

writer

poe i tree

ray vens perch

sun blackens

with the murder of crows

a black bird stretches

its pen

and writes

poe i tree

to a reader lying perfectly still

there might be a perceived heartbeat

but only in his mind.

Welcome back
Like a bird on a wire
You never left
You were still here in spirit !
I hope you are feeling stronger
Take care x

Good
Take care
Good to see you here again
Welcome back sir Jacob. We all missed you. Got us worried about you.
As for the poem, I read that a poet will always think, contemplate and write about poetry, whether in his mind, with his or her pen, even if they are lying down for surgery. They will write till the last breath.

Dear Jacob,
Came back to this poem once again...
I can feel the perceived heartbeat become stronger each day....
Looking forward to a new post from you soon, my friend.

This is the second Poe connected poem I have reviewed tonight. I'm starting to hear something beating against my chamber door.

Good to hear from you, friend. Hope you're doing well now.
Birds of a feather and the tell-tale heartbeat.
Always something new to find here my friend.
Welcome to Jacob's Word Shop and Stanza Emporium, where everything has its place and meanings are twisted by special order.
