spitting, spewing tongue

esteem mattered now shattered

despicable words

I've just finished the bunker, now I'm going to sit in it awhile & weep for the world and for the demise of common sense .. but then, that's just me Neville

Well I'm probably reading between the lines here, but this couldn't possibly be about that lovely, honest and way too orange president elect, could it?

Ha ha...the joke is on us.

Each grants esteem to that which they find honorable so the greater treachery may lie in the self betrayal of emotions. Or, as the old proverb advises, "Discretion will keep you."

This really has been a very extended ugly season on the world stage. Nicely worded here. ~Jim

Humans are so wired for survival; we will emphasize the negative in hopes of avoiding it; a good plan; but we are also humans and have bad moments. It is such a shame that a thousand words of love can be overshadowed by a few words spoken in anger or jealousy, fear.

Your senyru is packed in meaning, Huzzah.

Native American saying: "White man speak with forked tongue". and if you want to take it further, half of America speak with forked tongue. and, to be even more real, America speak with forked tongue. sorry Jacob, perhaps we should listen to some Dylan/Jimi when he spoke straight: "let's not speak falsely now, the hour is getting late.." The door is open wider now, the sky will darken with hate speak, with "despicable words' and even worse deeds.
