My Dream

I have a picture in my head.

It's beautiful,

Serene.

I have no words to describe

This masterpiece of mind,

The emotion it carries

To me,

And only to me,

You would not understand.

You would not understand

How it chills my core

With deep, haunting fingers.

Not cruel, not kind,

No, not at all! This was incredibly intriguing, and I liked the fact that you didn't actually finish the poem by describing it. In a way, the mystery surrounding this image made me search my imagination for my own kind of 'wild beauty' which you wrote of in this piece. This poem really does go to show, that some things just can't, or even possibly shouldn't, be explained.

I think it ended just perfectly. The dreams is mysterious but that makes the poem, I think. It sound like something dark, painful and wild, but known only to you and only you know what your dream is.
