The Unknown

The Unknown

A Poem by Erudite
"

( . . )

"
And so the sun bleeds.
Crippled, my eyes fall beneath.
Forlorn and forgone,
This dyadic countenance
Has ripped me through the veil.

Encountering myself,
The gods coerce me along
This high-altitude rearranging catwalk.

Curdling,
my confidence dies as I'm
Gurgling,
Salt water they pour over my mind.

Inebriated by
both truth and lies,
A somber embrace
With the duality of my fate,

Is all I may permit.

But when the intoxicant peaks
Must I sit, hands resting on my thighs,
Or shall I go,
Beyond the code,
Into unknown.
