The Beautiful Ones

The Beautiful Ones

A Poem by Erudite
"

To those who cultivate talent

"
In the land of the colorful I shine for you.
Cuz when these haters spittin' vapors
They leave us black and blue.
But can't nobody take
What they didn't create
So let's steal their breath.
Let's captivate.

To the performers with stories to be told.
To the artists who broke the mold.
To the beautiful ones shimmering like gold.

Let's hold each other up.
Let's trample their rules.
Remind them 'color inside the lines.'
Is the motto of fools.

Cuz it takes mistakes to make
It to your magnum opus.
And the master has failed more than the students have tried.
So go on, wipe the dust off.
I'll help you to your feet.
Now chase your calling,
While we chant your name.

Gotta put in work if you want the glory and fame.
