Reign

A poem detailing how I feel about females.

I know you don’t understand my motives

And lately you’ve been trying to

You just want to be noticed

And I only notice what you’re trying not to show

 

Look through my eyes

Realize to me it is sooo obvious

You think my words sound like a common diss

You say I try to piss on your self esteem

But it’s you that did that

Look back

You’ll see my words are right on track

 

Woo I don’t know how to act

Trying to treat you right

I can’t lie

Only live and breathe facts

 

It’s a harsh world

But I live in it too

You imagine that you

Are the only one under sky blue

But guess what

You are not

Alone under this judgment boo

 

We are all judged don’t be a fool

I hold you to the same standards

The same rules

I need you to be my friend in the day

I need you to open up your throat at night

Simple requests imply that I do not want to fight

I say it’s fair

You don’t complain

Cause you can’t argue with the brain

Argue with me

Get left standing in the rain

Hurling words at the wall

Producing your own pain

 

I am here for you

If you can follow the rules

I am much more fair

Than the rest of these tools

 

If you don’t agree

Then why are you on your knees again

Mouth around it like it’s your best friend

I just want to be King

I just never want this reign to end

This is how a man should feel

This is how I want to go down

Smile on my face as they put me in the ground

If you don’t get it

Then simply don’t come around

I like the loose rhyming you used, it makes the poem flow really well.
