The Man Made Out Of Leaves

The Man Made Out Of Leaves

A Poem by Ethan Boroian

I once new a man who was made out of leaves,

He was born in the springtime surrounded by butterflies and bees,

He would casually walk around enjoying the weather,

And he could jump real high, since he was as light as a feather,

He loved his life and hoped things would always stay the same,

But he died shortly after this, as soon as winter came…

Short and sweet !!!!

Very entertaining and quirky.
I saw that ending coming, even though when it did, it was still enjoyable.

I think of Shel Silverstein.. when reading this.. a little light and a thump at the end.
The structure is askew I think it may be your word program.. not sure if it shows up on everyone's screen as mine.. but the lines are kind of out of line.. the poem itself.. totally in line..good work
