Keeping

Saying goodbye isn't easy

And I don't think it was meant to be

But once you walk away

You will begin to see

The hardest part

Of saying goodbye

Is when you start to leave

And you try not to cry

Don't look back

Just keep on going

Because in your heart

your already knowing

That if you turn around

You will fall apart

So keep on walking

And you may be able to keep your heart

I understand exactly what you mean ((having gone through a recent break-up)). It never seems to be over until you walk away... And when you do, your feet feel like lead. Even if you don't even like the person, you never want to leave.
