murder scene

murder scene

A Poem by Meghan Renee

There’s a damnation in living
A cursed reminder of what was and can never be
Lost in a childhood room
Wrapped in blood-stained sheets
Let the family mourn
Their pain deserves to be felt
The victim’s suffering needs to be shared
Don’t be selfish
Be good and be quiet
Only speak when spoken too
Allow the vacancy to grow
A sign of foreclosure on the door
Let the living live and the dead lay to rest
Even if they’re still with us.

Writing is both my passion and coping mechanism. When I was twelve/thirteen, I became incredibly depressed. I couldn't get out of bed and ended up dropping out of school for the next two years. Dur.. more..
