Comfort

Comfort

A Poem by Mackenzie

As the earth rotates around the sun, I can feel the burn.

It warrants me home to the chill of silence.

And as I lay down, in this meadow of loneliness, I can see the stars and their satelites honing in on my deepest desires. With each passing of days and nights. It's apparent, only to me, that those needing comfort will find it in the night sky, gazing passionately back at them with glowing gold eyes.

I really like this one.
The night sky; For me, It is a beautiful but often lonely sight. Yet, there is something relaxing and comforting about it.
