As children we have this funny idea in most of our minds: that when we leave school our teachers simply wait there until we show back up again. They only exist in the environment we see them in. As adults we logically know better. But deep inside our minds we still feel the same. We could care less about their lives when we aren't there.
Aside from that, wonderful poem lol

Thank you for reading my work Knightingale. Many people must have some sort of at least one of the senses for proof of existence. I thought my teachers lived at school, lived for us. Yes, well enlightenment sure reconfigured my perceptions. I appreciate you read and your review.
